Evaluation provides many opportunities throughout the duration of the project:

• An opportunity to compare the cost of the change or intervention to the recognized benefits.
• A chance to determine whether the intervention is suitable for the targeted environment.
• Time to measure the impact the intervention has had on organizational performance.
• An opportunity to make necessary changes to the design of the intervention if it is not producing the expected results.
