On April 12-15, 2005, Dr. Joe Sasson attended the 43rd International Performance Improvement Conference in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Joe presented a talk entitled: Net-Centric Performance Improvement: A New Way to Promote Collaboration and Information Reuse in Performance Analysis, Solution Implementation, and Performance Evaluation. This 90-minute talk spurred a lot of conversation amongst the participants, who were all impressed with the work being done by the KCRG at FSU. Conversations surrounding the talk involved the applications of the Net-PI system in the US military, in the insurance field, in pest-control, in healthcare, in human resources, and in other domains. Our team felt lucky to have such a great audience that was able to grasp the Net-PI concept and apply its theoretical underpinnings to their own domains of interest.
