Global Usability Knowledge Management (GUKM)
This project investigates the potential for sharing usability testing knowledge.
Net-Centric Performance Improvement (Net-PI)
The Net-PI project involves creating a research basis for enterprise software systems capable of supporting learning organizations.
Online Participation Project    |    Participation paper (pdf)
Research has determined that attendance is a key factor in students’ success. This project investigates what it means to “attend” an online class, how attendance can be measured, and how technology can provide good feedback to both instructors and students.
Performance Improvement for Non-Profits (PIN)
The PIN project is concerned with applying the concepts of Human Performance Improvement and Knowledge Management to the non-profit sector. It is specifically concerned with analyzing organizational and individual performance and facilitating the creative construction, sharing, and reuse of knowledge among non-profit agencies.
Habitat Tracker
The Habitat tracker project studies the use of technology to create a community of informal learners in a museum setting. The project involves the use of mobile devices to help visitors journal their experience and observations during a museum visit. The data collected is then accessible through a community website, which extends the learning experience beyond the physical bounds of the museum.
Graduate Student Work
The KCRG includes a number of graduate students who undertake related projects and thesis work as part of their degree programs. The work currently reported includes studies on metadata authoring, reuse of personal software, and interaction design patterns.
